How do I arrange a product presentation?

How long between ordering and delivery?

Lead time = production time. It does not including transit time with chosen carrier.

Production can only begin once 50% deposit is received.

Every order is manufactured from start to finish at our own Yorkshire (UK) factory. If we have capacity and components are in stock, it could be as low as 1 week. If we’re not in that position, it could take up to 8 weeks weeks (or 10-12 weeks for larger, more complex projects).

95%+ of orders are OTIF ‘On Time In Full’. A small number of orders slip as a result of 3rd party suppliers or QC fails of components arriving into our own factory. You can check on the progress of your order anytime but we will always notify you of schedule changes at the earliest opportunity. Once we receive the deposit, we’ll contact you to discuss shipping options. Shipping time is dependent on destination + service selected.

What is your Shipping policy?

Every week we ship multiple orders to projects all over the world. Shipping for UK orders is arranged on your behalf with our logistics partners. Europe & RoW are EXWORKS. However we can discuss options if these do not meet your needs.

Do you offer a lighting design service?

Hiring a successful independent lighting designer is the best guarantee for a great project.

We can refer you to designers with proven characteristics that are relevant to your project (location, cost, technical aspects, etc).

We understand this is not always a viable approach. Depending on the size, complexity and location of your project we can support you with lighting design advice and / or light calculations.

Can I order bespoke mountings and/or finishes?

Our product range keeps prices low by keeping the designs simple and consistent. If the standard range does not match your specific needs then we are happy to discuss and supply bespoke solutions.

Can I return an item?

For more than 10 years we've lead the industry on circular economy. None of our sales employees are paid comission. Our mission is for you to buy less lighting equipment, not more.

We manufacture each order from start to finish to your exact specification. All designs and processes are optimised for reduced waste and environmental pollution.

We publish comprehensive design assets: BIM files, photometry, 3D files and photography. Physical samples are available on request.

We can accept returns, but a 'circular economy' charge is applied to cover disassembly and component reprocessing before they return to our inventory.

We don't cover the cost of return shipping. We urge you to think carefully, ask questions and allow yourself enough time before making a purchase. 'Draw twice, buy once'...

What Certification do you offer in my country?

We offer 'out of the box' UKCA, CE & PSE compliance self-certification for the UK, Europe & Japan. Other territories are available on request.

What price breaks are available?

It costs us less to manufacture and procure parts in higher quantities, and we can assembly products more efficiently in higher quantities too. These are basic principles of manufacturing.

So we of course pass the savings on to the customers. Luminaires have price breaks as the quantities increase.

Where are your products manufactured?

All of our products are assembled, tested and packed here in our factory in West Yorkshire, UK.

We have components made by carefully selected partners in the UK, Europe, Asia and North America. We prioritise manufacturing partners that share our circular economy goals.

Can I visit your factory?

While we do not have a show room we do regularly open the factory doors to customers and students.

We offer various CPD modules for architects and other lighting specifiers. We also have regular circular economy workshops for undergraduate and post graduate students.

Yes. We have customers all over the world that purchase directly.

Europe & RoW are EXWORKS. However we can discuss options if these do not meet your needs.
